BILKIIS, is the home of ideas for women that change things.
We offer a consultancy service to take your UK-based women’s NGO from concept to fruition. BILKIIS is the world of limitless possibilities, where curiosity and the journey in developing, innovating and establishing empowering solutions for women is just as paramount and exhilarating as the destination.
BILKIIS is founded by NGO manager consultant and NGO copywriter Soukeyna who read for a Master’s degree in NGO Management from City, University of London and has set up several philanthropic projects of her own over her career. Soukeyna is inspired by the healing and forceful presence that women bring: in our communities; in our families; and in the world.
BILKIIS is in honour of this: to help the woman speak life, empowerment and generosity into the other.

Named after Queen Bilqees an enimgmatic figure in Archaeology, Anthropology and the Islamico-Judeo-Christian tradition, BILKIIS is the hub of feminine wisdom and limitless generosity.
With a team including Soukeyna and her wealth of experience in managing and developing NGOs from seed to reality and Soraya, illustrator and Architecture graduate as our in-house branding consultant, you are in safe hands.
Solutions
We offer three services for NGOs yet to be developed as well as existing NGOs that need consultancy to become efficient and well-run forces for sustainable change and longevity.
Service 1 Establishing a new NGO
We offer a service to help you build a deliberate strategy to establish your women’s NGO from concept to actualisation including: concept, mission and vision statement development; a branding package; strategy development; business plan development, copywriting, policies and procedures creation; leadership coaching; marketing strategy, good governance and people management coaching; and finally legal structure and charity accounting advice.
Service 2 Consulting for existing NGOs service
We offer a service for existing NGOs to help develop a concise workflow, seamless systems and processes and leadership / people management coaching for efficient and successful running of your NGO.
Service 3 Issue specific ad-hoc advice service
We offer a no strings attached, as and when advisory service for NGOs that need issue-specific advice, coaching or development in the short term.

HOW WE WORK
1. Book your consultation
In the consultation we will establish what the vision is for your UK based women’s NGO and develop an action plan for the steps you need to take to bring it to fruition.
For additional guidance and to be coached along the way over the weeks and months that you develop your non-profit, follow up sessions can be arranged.
2 Follow your action plan
The action plan will be follow your consultation and will detail a thorough timeline until launch including:
- Creating a mission & vision statement
- Creating a concise website for seamless user experience
- A template and prompts for a business plan and strategy
- A marketing plan, Social Media plan and branding
- Legal structure, accounting, leadership, good governance and best practice for people management
3. Optional follow up session
Beyond your consultation and action plan you are welcome to book as many follow up sessions as you would like to touch base on your progress, get questions answered and be coached in areas you feel less confident with.
